It’s always sad to see a locally-owned business close its doors, especially one that has served the Western New York community for over 20 years.

In March, this local jeweler celebrated 21 years of being open, and now they have announced that they are going out of business.

This Jewelry Store Is Closing

Amy’s Fine Jewelry, located at 5870 Main Street, Williamsville, is going out of business. The announcement came as a bit of a surprise, especially because the Facebook page for the business continued to share pictures of their gems and different kinds of jewelry they had available in store leading up to the announcement.

Amy’s Fine Jewelry made the announcement on Facebook that they were stepping away from the business.

“TIME TO SAY GOODBYE. After 21 fabulous years, it's time for us to close our doors and move on to new adventures! But don't worry, we're going out with a bang and everything must go! That means discounts up to 70% OFF!”

When Is The Store-Wide Sale?

You can snag some amazing deals on the incredible inventory at Amy’s Fine Jewelry as early as Thursday, May 2 at 12 PM. Prices will be up to 70% off. Amy’s will have their “Store Closing Sale” on the following dates:

  • Thursday, May 2nd @ 12 PM - 7 PM
  • Friday, May 3rd @ 10 AM - 7 PM
  • Saturday, May 4th @ 10 AM - 5 PM
  • Sunday, May 5th @ 12 PM - 4 PM

What Happens To Customers Of Amy’s Fine Jewelry?

The jewelry store confirmed that their services will still be available during the time of this transition. In an official press release, Amy’s Fine Jewelry assured that while they are closing their doors, “our commitment to exceptional service remains unwavering.”

Special Orders, Sizings, and Repairs

If you have a customized order or a piece of jewelry that needs to be sized, Amy’s Fine Jewelry plans to honor those promises and you will be notified when ready for pickup. New repairs cannot be taken in until May 13th.

Closing Timeline For Amy’s

The doors will officially close sometime in mid-June at the earliest. Until then, the store will remain fully operational. The store will return to regular business hours following the sale dates stated above.
