Help Dogs In WNY At The Gentlemen Prefer Pits Event This Weekend!

If you know me, you know that I love dogs. They truly can be man's (and woman's) best friend. So I hope that you can help out this worthy cause for The Silver Lining for Pit Bulls Organization. They are an all-breed rescue foundation and have acquired quite a bit of veterinary expenses for their fosters...and they need your help!

They have an event coming up this Saturday, July 15, 2013 to help defray some of these costs. The event is called "Gentlemen Prefer Pits" (but is open for BOTH women and men to attend), from 4 p.m. until midnight (at least) at the Dnipro Ukranian Center (562 Genesee St., Buffalo, right off the 33).

Gordon Shell, retired MMA fighter and now an advocate for pit bulls and dogs in general, will be a special guest. Eye Candy Burlesque will be performing, along with five live bands. The ticket price is only $20, and there will be free food, a cigar bar and drink specials. This event is 18 and over, and there will be bracelets for those over 21 years of age. There will also be several high-priced items for basket raffle and a singles auctions.
