Sunday night, one 28-year-old man was pulled over by Cheektowaga Police and pain killers and bag of a marijuana were found in the man's pocket.

During a routine check, around 1 AM Monday,

the detention officer noticed the subject was bleeding while sitting up on the bench and not breathing. CPR was performed and an ambulance was called. The man was pronounced dead a short time later, according to WRGZ.

Police discovered some cocaine in the cell and Cheektowaga Police Chief notes that it is not protocol to do strip searches when booking inmates.

No official cause of death has been announce, nor the man's name.
