It's Canada's longest-running War of 1812 battle re-enactment taking place at Old Fort Erie this weekend (August 12 and 13). There will be over 500 re-enactors there to tell and show the story of the War of 1812's bloodiest battle. There will even be a nighttime battle re-enactment! You can make it a free weekend if you stick to the basics because there is no cost to view the battles and walk amongst the camps. However, there are all sorts of demonstrations and different tours you can take for an admission price. Get all of those details a prices HERE.

Saturday, August 12
Fort Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Welcome Centre Hours: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Battles: 11 a.m., 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.
Lantern Tour: 9 p.m.

Sunday, August 13
Fort & Welcome Centre Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m.
Battle: 1 p.m.
