42 North and Deep South Taco teamed up to create a beer that goes "south of the border"! Luchabrew, a authentic Mexican-style lager, took inspiration from the Lucha Libre style wrestling that originated in Mexico in the early 1900's. 42 North's Chief Brewing Officer, Clay Keel, said that a number of recipes were tried before finally landing on the beer that complemented "the innovative menu at Deep South Taco."

The beer described as

"an amber lager brewed like the early Vienna-style beers that German immigrants to Mexico in the mid-19 century. It boasts a nice balanced malt bill with some honey and caramel notes blended with soft lemon-spice of German noble hops that finishes smooth an crisp."

Luchabrew will be a Deep South Taco exclusive! You will be able to grab $3 dollar pints from Deep South Taco's Ellicott Street location, their newest location on Hertel and of course, 42 North's Tap Room.
