Taylor Swift came away the big winner – taking home Entertainer of the Year honors at last night’s 45th annual Country Music Association awards in Nashville.  She is now only the second female artist to win the CMA’s highest honor twice.  The only other female to win it twice is Barbara Mandrell.

The husband – wife team of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert took Male and Female Vocalist awards.

Album of the Year went to Jason Aldean for “Tattoos On This Town”

The Band Perry won in three categories, Single and Song of the Year for “If I Die Young” and New Artist of the Year.

Group of the Year – Lady Antebellum

Vocal Duo of the Year – Sugarland

Musical Event of the Year – Jason Aldean with Kelly Clarkson, “Don’t You Wanna Stay”

Music Video of the Year – Kenny Chesney featuring Grace Potter, “You and Tequila”

Brad Paisley, Vince Gill and Keith Urban combined for a tribute to Glen Campbell with their versions of “By the Time I Get To Phoenix”, “Wichita Lineman” and “Galveston”.

Campbell announced earlier this year that he has Alzheimer’s. 

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosted the show for the fourth straight year and it included a spoof on Hank Williams, Junior.  As they were singing Hank walked up behind them.
