As morbid as this post may be, I found it to be interesting and insightful.  This list was put together by a woman named Bonnie Ware, who worked as a Hospice nurse for several years.  During her years taking care of the dying, she compiled a list of regrets from various patients.  Ware noticed a common theme, so she put out a book called "The Top Five Regrets Of The Dying."  You may want to add these to your bucket list....

Regret 1-  The most common regret expressed by each patient..."I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself....not the life others expected of me."  Ware says that most of the people hadn't lived out half of their dreams.  :(

Regret 2- This one came mostly from the men.  "I wish I had not worked so hard."  It makes sense....if you spend your life chasing the mighty dollar....life will pass you by.  It's life...live it!

Regret 3- "I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings."  If ya feel it say it.  Tell the ones you love how much you love them...daily!

Regret 4- " I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends."  Family and true friends is really all you have in this life.

Regret 5- Is about happiness.  Many of the patients said "I wish that I had let myself be happier."  Happiness is a choice, which many people don't realize until its too late.

Here's a great song/video that somewhat goes along with this post....
