We did some pretty dumb stuff in 2016.  I've seen some huge trends come and go.  We've seen the mannequin challenge, Harambe memes, and the water bottle flip challenge.  However, some of the "trends" from 2016, I didn't even realize were "a thing."

I was looking at a list of the top trends from 2016 that we wish would stay in 2016 and didn't even know what some of these things were!

1. Deconstructed Coffee - Maybe this is because I'm not a Hipster.  But I like my coffee like...um...coffee....in a cup.  You don't have to do much at all to it.  I'll take some cream and sugar.  That'll do it for me.

2.  The Duct Tape Challenge - I've never seen anyone do this.  Not one person.  And I'm on social media every day.  How did I miss the skull shattering stupidity of this one??

3.  Extreme Phone Pinching - Yeah...these phones only cost a couple hundred bucks.  Lets pinch the smallest corner of it that we can and hold it over an area where it could fall and be broken.  That's a cool idea.

Your parents should never buy you another phone again.  Ever.  OR...they should find a way to make you carry one of those really old school super big ones.  Idiots.

4.  Rainbow food - Does it come out looking like a rainbow?  That's really the only reason I'd want to try this.  Anything that looks like it's made from play-doh probably shouldn't be eaten regularly.

5.  The Banana Peel Challenge - Have cartoons taught us nothing?  If you step on a banana peel, you will slip and fall.  Yet someone still made a challenge out of it.  We will make a challenge out of anything won't we?

6.  Sushi burrito - Even if Justin Moore isn't a huge fan, I like sushi.  I like burritos.  I think I like to keep them as two separate foods though.  Why do we have to super-size EVERYTHING?

7.  Ear makeup - I couldn't even find a video on this one.  How can it be called a trend?  And why would you want to put makeup on your ears?  Sooo many questions about this trend.

8.  Unicorn Hair - Why.  Just...why?
