Eric Church Remembers His Earlier Trips to WNY

You can't deny that Eric Church has some incredibly loyal fans.  They were there in force Friday night at First Niagara Center.  I was really impressed that his fans knew the words to every song.  Not just the hits, but the album cuts too and the crowd needed just a couple of guitar strums to know what song was next.

Eric Church is a guy who never forgets where he came from.  He realizes that without his fans he's nothing and that's why he shows so much affection for the crowds that come see him.  And it all goes back to the beginning of his career when he was starting out, playing in tiny honky tonks and small show houses.

I was impressed that he remembered a couple of local places, the Buckin' Buffalo and Rapids Theatre where he appeared early in his career.  And we were lucky enough to come across a Youtube video from Friday's show when he mentioned those two places.  He made sure his Western New York fans know how much he appreciates them and they made sure he knew it works both ways.
