Could A Buffalo Team Win It All?

I won't even get into here because most people already know how I feel about the Bills and Sabres and when they'll win a championship, if ever.  But there is a Buffalo team that's in the running and could bring a title back to the City of Good Neighbors.

If you've never seen an episode of the CBS reality series 'The Amazing Race', this Sunday might be a good time to watch. Katie and Max Bichler, newlyweds from Buffalo, have made it the Final Four this season, and they head into the two-hour finale in first place.

That's quite a comeback for the couple who at one time were in last place.  Eleven teams started out in Los Angeles and traveled to Bora Bora, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Botswana, Switzerland, Germany and Scotland.  The finale takes them back to the United States for a race around Washington, D.C. to the finish line and the $1 million grand prize.

Can Katie and Max bring back a championship to Buffalo?  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Maybe some of the other Buffalo teams can use it as inspiration.
