A few days ago I saw the story of a courageous 7-year-old cancer patient named Jack Hoffman on the news. I asked quite a few friends if they saw this amazing young man score a touchdown in a recent Nebraska Cornhuskers game. Surprisingly, they said no, though they were curious about a 7 year old playing college football.

I was surprised, too, considering that this tough little guy has become an overnight sensation thanks to so many watching the YouTube video of his 69-yard scoring run last Saturday during the annual spring "Red-White" game.

But it's not just the touchdown that will move you. It's the way the whole team and their fans -- and now the country (and perhaps the world) -- has rallied around this cancer patient and his family and brought the cause of pediatric brain cancer to the forefront. So watch the video, be prepared to shed a tear or two (or more) and then find out more about "Team Jack".
