Last year, I ran a blog called, "Show Us Your Chevy" in celebration of Chevrolet's 100th year anniversary. Many WYRK listeners sent me pictures of their beautiful Chevrolet cars and trucks. We had quite an impressive gallery of Chevy vehicles and people showing their love of Chevrolet.

Last week I received an email from Tawna Mosiman from Wichita, Kanasas. Tawna was surfing the net and came across my "Show Us Your Chevy" blog from last year. She then sent me an email about her Grandpa's Chevy truck and how this truck became part of her recent wedding.

Tawna met her husband when she was only 14 years old, back in 2003. They have been together for 8 years now and finally decided to tie the knot. He proposed to her last June on the ferris wheel inside the Mall of America on a trip they took. Tawna had won the trip as a result of a singing contest in Wichita. Her husband Chad works at Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita and Tawna substitute teaches during the week and sings in a country band on the weekends.

Tawna and Chad got married on May 5th. Even though her grandpa had passed away, a part of him was there at the wedding. Tawna's father had restored grandpa's 1957 Chevrolet Cameo pick-up truck and the happy couple made the truck part of their wedding.
