Archery Season For Whitetail Deer Opens In Western New York

Today is the big day for those of us that love to hunt deer. My freezer is empty and I am ready to stock it with some venison! It is a couple weeks earlier than it as been in the past and from what I can tell, it is going to be a great year!Based on trail cameras, scouting and just driving around, the deer numbers appear to be way up this year. As a result of a mild winter and diminishing numbers of hunters, the herd seem to have gotten bigger and the buck have as well.
