Akron Acres Delivers Memories and Fresh Cut Trees [PHOTOS]

It's become a tradition to make the trip to Akron Acres in December to pick out the Christmas tree. But it's not just about picking a tree at Akron Acres, it's about the whole experience that comes with it. The family run farms feels just like that, greeted with warm smiles and hellos you feel at ease right away. Then you take a horse drawn wagon, complete with sleigh bells, out the field of trees where you then begin the hunt for your perfect tree. With many varieties, shapes and sizes to choose from you will no doubt find a perfect tree for you!  Once you find your tree it's on your to saw it down, but that's why you went to a tree farm, right?! They don't make you lug it all the way back to your car though. Just drag your tree to the path and they'll do the rest...they'll even strap it to your roof for you!

While waiting for your wagon ride back you can hang out around the fire and roast marshmallows with fellow tree hunters!

There's also refreshments, the animals in the barn and super cute store where you can find decorations, ornaments and plenty of cute presents. There is so much to do there you will not be bored!

I almost don't want to talk about how great it is in fear that what feels like a secret spot will become not so secret. However, the memories made here are too good not to share! If you're looking for a great trip with the family this is the spot! From start to finish you'll feel very festive and ready for the holidays!
