It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This week, our Hometown Hero is from Akron, NY.  It’s United States Airman First Class Caleb Cray!

Caleb was a varsity wrestler, football player, and lacrosse player in high school. He decided upon graduation that he wanted a career in law enforcement and he wanted to serve his country. He joined the Air National Guard in 2016 and graduated from Basic Training in June of 2017 with the rank of A1C - Airman 1st Class, and then from Security Forces technical school in September of 2017 as Military Police. He is currently stationed to the 101st Air Refueling Wing in Bangor, Maine. On his civilian side he is a Corrections Officer at the Maine State Prison.

This week, we are honored to name Caleb Cray our Hometown Hero of the week!

Thanks once again to United States Airman First Class Caleb Cray from our Air National Guard, our Hometown Hero of the week!
