Alan Jackson Surprises Zac Brown With Cadillac At Nashville Show

Alan Jackson is showing his appreciation to his recent collaborator.  The singer, who teamed up with the Zac Brown Band on the hit "As She's Walking Away," made an unscheduled appearance at the group's concert Wednesday night -- and came with a special gift.  He gave Brown a 1966 Cadillac El Dorado convertible.  Jackson surprised Brown with the vintage vehicle backstage before the band's headlining debut at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.  Jackson notes the car is just his way of saying "thanks" to Brown for inviting him to work together.  He says, quote, "I think Zac is one of the coolest new talents to come along and he's a Georgia boy like me.  It was an honor to be on his record."

Brown was stunned and humbled by the gift, and promises to share Jackson's generosity with others, saying, quote, "I will pay it forward."  He humorously adds, quote, "What an amazing night, amazing friend, amazing car...and if I want to pull a Hank Sr., I now have the ride to do it in."  Hank Williams Sr. died while riding in the back seat of a Cadillac on January 1st, 1953.
In addition to his present to Brown, Jackson also gave a treat to the audience.  He joined the band to perform "As She's Walking Away" during the show.
