Amy Schumer Buys Back Her Father’s Farm

Things seem to be going pretty well for Amy Schumer these days.  She's in movies, in commercials, and headlining her own comedy shows.  But it wasn't always smooth sailing for her. 

When she was young, her family came across some hard times.  So much so that they lost their farm.

Her dad has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disease that she admits was tough to understand as a young girl.  She tells People that it was her humor that helped them to make it through some of the hard times.

Now though, things are looking up for Amy and her family.  She's been doing well enough that she was able to buy back the farm that she lost when she was a kid.  She captured the reaction in a screen shot that she posted on instagram.
