I have been so blessed in my life to have met some inspiring people...and I'd like to introduce one of them to you. His name is Joseph Kissmann. He's 20 years old and has lived his life with a smile and a fighting spirit despite the fact he has Cerebral Palsy and is a quadriplegic. Now he's in the fight of his life...Joe's lungs are collapsing.

This means he needs spinal fusion surgery to survive. Please join me and the Joseph One Love Foundation this Saturday morning at the Lake Erie Italian Club at 3200 South Park Avenue in Lackawanna for a fundraiser to help with his medical costs.

The event begins at 9:00am with registration for the Family Fun Walk at 10:00am.  That will be followed by food and beverages, a basket raffle, live music by "NIGHT EAGLE" and more.  The more is a "Wellness Fair" with plenty of health professionals and providers on-hand to promote healthy living.

Tickets pre-sale are $15.00 for adults (13+), Children ages 5-12 are $10.00 and kids under 5 are free. They also have a special "Family Deal" for just $50.00. (Prices increase $5.00 at the door)

Visit Joseph One Love on Facebook  for more information on this wonderful organization founded in part to honor the memory of a dear friend (and fellow Erie County Sheriff's Deputy) Joe Joseph, who passed away at just 62 years of age in February due to lung cancer.
