Breakfast is the most important part of the day. That statement has even more validity after a new report!

For most of us, sitting down and having a good breakfast can be difficult with our busy schedules. But it may be even more important to grab something to eat to start your day in 2019.

Studies are concluding that skipping breakfast for even one day a week can raise your risk of Type 2 Diabetes.

According to Metro Source News:

The Journal of Nutrition is reporting that German researchers found skipping the meal one day a week led to a six-percent higher risk of diabetes.  The risk increases each additional day with a 55 percent higher risk for skipping the entire week.

By not eating breakfast the body continues to store sugar in fat cells waiting for it to be needed.

I try to have at least a banana on my drive to work. I definitely notice my energy levels get better when I eat something before work and I also notice that my weight is actually better when I start eating early in the day!
