For the second consecutive week the Bills defense embarrassed themselves. They gave up 580 yards to the Patriots last week and against the San Francisco 49ers they gave up more than 600 yards in a 45 to 3 loss. The Bills offense didn’t help either with a couple of turnovers that the 49ers cashed in on both times with touchdowns.

Tight end Scott Chandler’s fumble in the first half was quickly gobbled up by the 49ers and they scored one play later.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw an absolutely awful pass in the third quarter that was intercepted and the 49ers went the length of the field for another score.

This team was supposed to make the playoffs? This defense was supposed to be one of the best in the NFL? They’ve given up 97 points in back to back games. There are people who should be fired for this. Mario Williams – who? The Bills certainly aren’t getting their money’s worth with this clown. But don’t blame just him. There’s plenty of blame to go around – players and coaches. And most concerning is that the Bills seemed to just give up after a while.

Last week they allowed two 100-yard rushers and two 100-yard receivers. Just a slightly better story this week, two 100-yard receivers but only one 100-yard rusher. Is that progress? Hardly.

Is there no pride on this team? These guys are getting paid millions of dollars for their so-called talents. I see more pride from high school players.

The Bills will stay out west in preparation for next week’s game at Arizona.
