Now that we are officially into the holidays, it’s really time for the shopping! If you are like me and want to find something special and unique this year instead of the same old stuff, then these weekend activities are for you!!

This weekend in East Aurora is the Roycroft Winter Arts and Crafts Festival. Happening tomorrow at the East Aurora Middle School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this one is fantastic! I went to check it out today and wandered around for hours trying not to buy out the entire place. The nice part about this festival is some of the pieces are so unique that you won’t find them elsewhere. There are 35 Juried Roycroft Artisans who have displayed for you their crafts made of clay, wood, metal and more. You’ll be able to find something special for everyone on your hlist.

This weekend at the Hamburg Fairgrounds, they are hosting Yuletide in the Country Arts and Crafts Show. I also had a chance to attend this arts and crafts show today, and let’s just say I went in looking for one specific gift and walked out with four bags...most of them for myself!  I love this arts and crafts show because of the variety they have. They have everything from Christmas centerpieces to jewelry to wine slushies. I have to say, this year I was particularly excited about the dog booth that had the cutest handmade stockings that had doggie treats inside. Tomorrow, head out with your holiday shopping list and wander the booths at Yuletide in the Country. It’s $5 to get in the door, and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.
