Attention Texting Drivers – You Are About To Be Publicly Shamed

You have heard of pet shaming right?  That's where people post pictures of their pets looking incredibly guilty with a sign next to them that says what they did wrong.  In San Francisco, people are about to be the target of the shaming.

It's for a good reason too.  Texting while driving is incredibly dangerous.  Yet people still do it every day.  But not if Brian Singer has anything to say about it.  Brian has started up a website, called Texting While In Traffic that not only posts pictures of people who text while drive, it also blasts them up to a billboard that can be seen around the city.

Singer tells Gizmodo, "I've been blown away by the number of people texting while in traffic, on the freeway. For every nose picker, there's 20 texters. Unofficial estimation by me.  My hope is that it will freak some people out and make them think twice before picking up the phone while driving."
