The Taste of Country is once again coming back to Buffalo, and we could not be more excited to announce this year's Taste of Country lineup!
I hate to fly. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The reasons that I hate it are 50% because I don't trust my life in the hands of technology that puts me thousands of feet in the air and the other 50% that I don't trust is other people. I was for the body scanners that the TSA was using to screen passengers. Now they're going to be removed.
Before the big stars were big stars, they were newcomers with just one single. For Miranda Lambert, that first single was "Me And Charlie Talking" from her Kerosene album. Although four singles were launched from the CD, only the title track was a top 15 hit. I, for one, still love this song.
Last night my wife had to work late and it was just me and the kids. It was a planned "relaxing" night so there was no agenda (my favorite kind of night). As we flipped through the channels and realized there was nothing on, I thought I would just take a chance on something. It was the best decision I've made in a long time.
I was listening to the Breakfast Club talk to Rob Schneider this morning and they started out by talking about what most celebrities tend to notice about Buffalo...the weather. I heard Rob say that even the birds know to stay away when it's this cold. Now I see why. Look at how the Los Angeles media covers the "cold" temps in their weather forecasts.
George Strait is coming through on February 22nd. I've got second row tickets for you today! But in order to win them, you have to answer my Useless Trivia question. It's not easy today. So I decided to give those of you who search our website a bit of a heads up! Here's a hint for the answer!
We started a little later with the jokes for Worst Joke Wednesday yesterday but that didn't mean there were any shortages with the jokes. They were pretty good too! I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! Find out if yours made the list right here:
The playoffs are in their final week in the NFL and lots of people are tuning in each week to find out who will be playing in the Superbowl (or to see how much money they lost on bets). But if you've ever wondered what the players are saying on the sidelines, here's one person's best guess.
If you're like me, you probably like to watch movies with your significant other. The problem comes when you have to pick which movie to watch. Although I know it's not always the case, most guys stereotypically like to watch action/horror types of movies while most girls stereotypically like to watch the "chick flicks". So the hard part is to find a happy medium. Here are a list of movies that I think both guys and girls might enjoy:
There's a phrase that my mom used to use quite often when I was a kid. She would say, "The path to heaven is paved with good intentions." Even if things don't pan out the way you hope they would, it is still right to try to do the right thing
This is not one of those catfish noodling videos you've seen on TV. Although it's the same idea, I don't think this guy was ready for what he was about to catch. As he hangs over the dock using his arm as bait to lure a big fish, another comes seemingly from nowhere and grabs on. This guy certainly has a "one that got away" story to tell!
I can't tell you how many times I've gone into Tim Horton's and felt jealous of all the older retired guys who are sitting around with their friends passing the time over a cup of coffee. I've always thought they just sat around and talked
