Clay Moden

I'm a local boy, born and raised…the youngest of five kids (but I have a twin sister). I live in East Aurora with my dog Pepper, who is one of the best retrievers in the area (in my opinion). I love the outdoors -- hunting, fishing, running, you name it. If I didn't work in radio, I would probably pursue a lifelong dream to own a beef cattle farm. My father and mother always taught me that helping people should be my number-one priority, so that’s what I hope to do by being your source of fun and country music every weekday morning!

Channel 7 Meterologist Andy Parker Explains What “Country Cold” Really Means [AUDIO]

If you were up early on Wednesday morning, you may have noticed the difference in temperatures that we mentioned. It was well below zero in the outlying areas and not as bad (relatively speaking) in the more suburban/urban areas. Why? We asked Channel 7 Meteorologist, Andy Parker to explain.

Pride And Passion Keep WNY’s Family Owned Farms Alive [PICTURES/VIDEO]

It's really not any front page news that farming is hard work. But for the small family owned farms around Western New York (and the entire country for that matter) there is an added burden. As supply seems to be at a higher level these days because of the slowing of exports to Europe, and more notably, China, some experts predict that the price of milk will drop and that spells trouble for farmers and the entire economy may feel that strain.

Have A “Nashville Lunch” Right Here In Buffalo [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

When I sat down to write this, I was going to start with a working title similar to "A Step Back In Time." However, after thinking about it for the afternoon, that would be very misleading. I had the pleasure of having lunch on Thursday afternoon at Sportsmens Tavern on Amherst St in Buffalo and it was one of the most enjoyable lunch hours I have ever had."Nashville Lunch" with the Lunch Bunch is held at noon every Thursday at Western New York's only TRUE honky tonk and it's anything but antique. It's very much relevant and alive or as the millennials say "it's on point!"

Plans To Put The Buffalo Bills New Home On The Hamburg Fairgrounds Slammed [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

With the debate swirling about where the next football stadium should go, I was given a bit of a history lesson about how our area has gone through this before. Not just a few years ago, I am referring to over 30 years ago when the question of where the home of The Buffalo Bills should be was as pressing as it is today.

Big Time Athletes Are Hard At Work Daily At Buffalo Raceway In Hamburg,NY [PICTURES]

The racing season is back at Buffalo Raceway in Hamburg! Although it may be cold these days, behind the scenes, it's a busy place on the land known by many as the Hamburg Fairgrounds on McKinley Pkwy. These days you won't see horses pulling wagons along the parade route or The Budweiser Clydesdale team on display. Rather, you'll find barns filled with some of the strongest, well trained athletes professional sports have to offer.

Ice Fishing Is Hot Along Route 5 In Buffalo [VIDEO]

You many have seen them on your drive to and from work if you happen to commute along waterways in the area. Those little huts, scattered like puzzle pieces on the ice. Winter is here and the Western New York region is thriving with those that take advantage of a good vortex and spend some time ice fishing!

From Lake Erie to farm ponds, ice fishermen are popping up or rather "tipping up" all over
