Dale Mussen

I've been doing this radio thing for over 35 years now. I've been a part of the Breakfast Club morning show since 1986. Since I was a kid, I've loved to read. I read the newspaper each day nearly cover to cover – usually not the classifieds though. I get a lot of ideas for my Daily Data segment just by reading the paper. I’m a lifelong Bills and Sabres fan, and I've been a regular in the press box of both teams since 1979 -- but I'm still waiting for one of them to win a championship! Four cracks at it for the Bills and two for the Sabres, and they came up short. I was born and raised in the Buffalo area. I went to school at Niagara University, and since Clay went to Canisius, we get to raz each other twice each year when the Eagles and Griffs meet to play basketball. I have a large collection of records. I'm one of the few that still has the old vinyl, including a lot of old 45s in their original sleeves. Some kids probably have no idea what I'm talking about at this point. My favorite things to do in my spare time are bike riding and fixing things around the house, and each fall, I officiate high school football games.

Watch Out For Utility Bill Scams

How often do you actually look through your utility bills to verify the charges? You might pay your bill each month and never give it a thought until one day it hits you that your bill is kind of high. Actually very high. Then you compare it with bills from a year ago and it might even be double what you paid before.

White House By The Numbers

Too bad George Washington never got to live there. But he was the one who picked out the site and he oversaw construction. The cornerstone was laid in 1792 and eight years later President John Adams and his wife became the first residents of the White House.

Over the years each President has made changes to suit their own tastes.

He Wrote Out The Bible By Hand

It took him four years to do it, sometimes as long as 14 hours in a day, but finally Phillip Patterson completed a project over the weekend that he started in 2009. He wrote out every word of the King James Bible by hand. He finished it by writing the final two lines of the Book of Revelation in front of a crowd of worshippers at St. Peter’s Church in Spencertown, New York near the Massachusetts border. He put down his pen and said “Amen”.

Airline Fees Out of Control

Planning to take a trip anywhere this summer? Unless you’ve got a huge bank account you might want to consider driving. Airline fees continue to climb. You might be able to find a nice fare, but boy are you going to be socked with fees.

Just a few weeks ago United changed the fee for changing a discount fare from $150 to $200. American, Delta and U.S. Airways matched it.

Matt Kenseth Wins At Darlington For 3rd Victory Of The Season [VIDEO]

It was quite a week for Matt Kenseth. On appeal, NASCAR lowered the tough penalties against his team for an illegal engine part used at Texas Motor Speedway, then on Saturday night at Darlington he passed teammate Kyle Busch with 13 laps to go to win the Southern 500 for the first time. And it came without his regular crew chief. Jason Radcliffe sat out Saturday night after his one race suspension for the illegal part. Kenseth had won three Nationwide races at Darlington, but it was his first in the Cup series and it’s his third victory this season.
