Weeks ago I started seeing the Easter decorations fill the aisles of the grocery store and drug stores that I shop at.  I think they display them right after Valentine’s Day.   I’ve been trying so hard to resist the Easter candy aisle because it’s filled with chocolate bunnies, eggs and more.  I love me some milk chocolate and when it’s shaped like a bunny I’m weak.  Also, it just brings back memories of when my brother and sisters and I would hunt the house for the basket that the Easter Bunny hid for us to find on Easter morning.

The WYRK staff presented Alayna Clementi with tickets to Taylor Swift along with a very special engraved ‘Taylor Swift, Fearless’ plaque.  Alayna’s mom, LuAnn won the tickets from the breakfast club a few weeks ago and then wound up winning the grand prize plaque too and wanted to surprise Alayna with it!

I’m a pretty laid back person and I try to stay calm while driving, don’t want to express road rage of any kind, but this morning I found myself honking my horn and pointing fingers at people on the ride in to work.  Here’s why; clearly if there is a sign that says you’re not able to make a left turn between 7a to 9a and its 8:30a you shouldn’t stop traffic by trying to make a left turn!!

Well it’s now official; The LA Times reports ABC has cancelled two of its long running daytime soaps.  “All My Children” will end this September and “One Life to Lives’” last episodes will air in January 2012.  I have to say I’m a little sad at this news.  Even though I haven’t been able to watch them in a long while, I do admit to catching up with them occasionally on the Soapnet .

Tonight another will fall on  'American Idol', I’m going to try and predict the bottom 3.  Paul, Haley and Casey.  I’ve picked them based on how I think fans have voted, not on performance.  I actually liked Casey Abrams performance last night, I doubt most of America will agree.  As for Paul, I’m just tired of his voice I liked him at first but he has one of the voices that I can only take in small doses.  Now to Scotty, I wish he would’ve taken more of a risk last night on his song choice.

I know a lot people think the sport of Tennis is boring to watch, but I love it.  I admit there was I time when I agreed with those who think it’s boring, but over the last three to four years I’ve really gotten in to watching.  Part of that might be the appeal of the Williams sisters who bring so much to the court when they play.  And it’s not just the level of their game; it’s their appearance on the court.  They’re so entertaining with their flashy outfits, some are downright distracting.
