I haven’t watched American Idol for the last couple of years I wasn’t really a fan of Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler because I thought they were way too soft on the contestants. I longed for the rude remarks from Simon Cowell who usually hit the nail on the head with his critiques. When I heard that Keith Urban was taking a chair on the show I told myself I would at least check it
We love giving away trips to see your favorite stars, so here's our first flyaway of 2013!!
I’m not much of a gadget girl but a gadget/utensil like this…I could get behind. Have you seen the new vibrating fork? Yes it sounds funny but I have to believe this could help me stop eating so fast. I admit like most people I eat way to fast. This new fork can help your calorie intake, but how?
It will be the last time to see George Strait in Buffalo! We have your tickets to his final tour 'The Cowboy Rides Away' which stops at the First Niagara Center on Friday February 22nd.
Country music is at an all time high if you ask me. There are so many new talented artists that are hitting the scene including a guy I just met the other night, Joel Crouse. Joel was signed by Showdog Universal and has some exciting music coming soon.

It’s that time again, cold and flu season. I’ve been lucky so far (knock on wood) and haven’t had a major cold or caught the flu but I’m thinking my luck will run out at some point. I’m not one to stock up on over the counter medicines when I’m sick, I just fight through with rest lots of liquids and sleep usually.
The holidays are over and we now dig in for a long winter. True we haven’t seen too much snow or felt the super cold temperatures but there is plenty of winter left for that and that can make me down right blue. I would normally take my tree down on New Years Day but because it was early in the week I've left it up knowing I'll get to that task this weekend. .
It’s a brand new year, and maybe you’re looking to start a new relationship. Yesterday I watched a lot of TV, and almost every other commercial was for a match maker or dating service. You may think this method of finding someone is a bit impersonal; why not try meeting someone face to face at the Singles Party?
I remember when I first moved to Buffalo twelve years ago how exciting New Year’s Eve was because of all the options of where to celebrate. Whether it’s the city ball drop, the bars on Chippewa or a big house party there are so many ways to spend New Year’s Eve. As I get older it’s funny how the proceeding sounds daunting to me.
A couple weeks ago the trio ‘The Farm’ stopped by WYRK to play for me and some staff members. I was pleasantly surprised by their spirited performance. ‘The Farm’ is made up of three talented singer-songwriter, musicians
We all have days when for some unexplained reason we’re just in a bad mood. I woke up this morning with a chip on my shoulder and I'm not exactly sure why. It got me thinking about an episode of the ‘Doctors’ and a segment they did about how certain foods/beverages can boost your mood. So I did a little research to see what I can eat or drink to feel happier today.
