Sherwood Schwartz, the man who created or contributed to several iconic television shows, died Tuesday at 4AM of natural causes. He was 94.
Schwartz worked in radio for Bob Hope before transitioning to television, where he won a 1961 Emmy as part of the writing team for 'The Red Skelton Show.' He also worked on series such as 'My Favorite Martian' and 'Harper Valley PTA.'

Casey Anthony was sentenced to four years in jail Thursday for lying to investigators in charge of the search for her daughter, Caylee. After deliberating for 10 hours and 40 minutes, a jury found Casey Anthony not guilty in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The seven-woman, five-man jury found the 25-year-old Anthony not guilty after a more than six-week long trial, CNN reported.

Most of us have experienced flight delays, but probably none like this! Flights were temporarily halted at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Wednesday morning after about 150 turtles ambled onto a runway. JetBlue first tweeted news of the slowdown: "JFK is experiencing delays as the airport clears turtles off the runway."
Port Authority spokesman Ron Marsico said flights were delayed only about 15 minutes.
“We had about 150 turtles coming out of the bay this morning," said Marsico. "They crossed the runway to a sandy beach area to lay their eggs."
