Having trouble sleeping? For some, just falling asleep can be tough. Resorting to a few drinks before bed has been shown to help people fall asleep faster. However, it may not help with the quality of sleep.Yep, another study has been conducted. I should have become a scientist. Some of these studies seem like they may be rather fun.

A Time Magazine article stated that...

“This review confirms that the immediate and short-term impact of alcohol is to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep,” lead author of the study Irshaad Ebrahim, director of the London Sleep Center, said in a statement. “In addition, the higher the dose, the greater the impact on increasing deep sleep.”

If you find that you are waking up in the middle of the night it could be that you are having a few too many before bed! The term "sleeping it off" may not be true after all!
