The CMA Country Christmas will air tonight on ABC with four-time hilarious and delightful host Jennifer Nettles taking the emceeing duties once again. I got the opportunity to go to the taping of the show in Nashville this past November, and it's a completely different but cool experience than what you see on TV.

The artists have to sometimes sing the song over and over again until it sounds just right, or Jennifer Nettles would laugh a few times while reading the teleprompter and, in Jennifer Nettles fashion, would laugh and tell everyone "Crap, we need to start over" and just laugh about it. Or actress Lucy Hale saying, "Uh I've never sang in front of this many people" before she performed. The producers would announce when the audience should clap, and then Jennifer Nettles would start talking to introduce the next segment.

And good thing for special guest Mary J. Blige, who saw a lot of camera time and nearly had a 'nip slip' while singing a duet with Jennifer. Luckily (for Mary J. Blige, at least), the special is not live, and the dress malfunction will not be shown. So the dress you see on TV is not the one she originally had on. But do expect a very special night and awesome renditions of some of your favorite holiday classics and new songs.

Darius Rucker and a children's choir do an awesome rendition of some John Lennon, and Luke Bryan and Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty sing their Christmas song "Hairy Christmas".

Expect a chilling performance and duet from Trace Adkins, as well as Hunter Hayes, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler and Darius Rucker, Sheryl Crow, Lucy Hale, Lady Antebellum and Michael W. Smith.

The CMA Country Christmas Special airs December 2 at 9 p.m.
