Beware Of This Person Claiming To Be A Police Officer

It would be concerning to receive a call from someone who might be the police telling you that you need to meet them.  It would be even scarier to find out that person wasn't a police officer at all.

That's what happened to a Collins woman who claims a man called claiming to be a police sergeant.  According to WGRZ, the man told her she needed to meet him with regards to a missed court date.

He asked her to call him back from a cell phone so that he could track her location.  She became suspicious and called 911.
