I think more people would go green if doing so were convenient for us.  This past Saturday, Green Options Buffalo held a bicycle recycling drive that also accepted old electronics too.  Cell phones, televisions, and computers and stuff like that.  I don’t know about you but I have  several old cell phones and at least two old TV’s that are just home collecting dust that could’ve been donated to this cause.  Green Options Buffalo is a non-profit organization that collects these types of items to help the environment by keeping them out of the waste system in Buffalo and by helping local charitable organizations like Camp Good Days.  The electronic recycling organization Sunnking played a major part in this collection.  Numbers for this year’s event haven’t been released but last year over 250,000 pounds of electronics were donated resulting in around $8,000 given to the camp.  All I know is I'm going to start doing a better job of recycling these types of things after seeing the benefits from doing so.
