The end of a great career is coming for the voice of a famous bird!

There is probably a very small amount of us who don't know who Big Bird is. The iconic, tall, large beaked bird is the "face" of the popular kids show "Sesame Street" is about to retire.

According to Metro Source news:

Since 1969, Caroll Spinney has appeared in thousands of Sesame Street episodes along with his pals Bert and Ernie.  The 84-year-old, who stopped physically playing Big Bird in 2015, is still the voice for him  and Oscar the grouch.

When I was a kid, when we would be home from school because of a snow day or for being sick, we definitely watched Sesame Street! Congrats to Caroll on a great career!
