Another embarrassing day for Bills fans. I’d like to say the Bills themselves were embarrassed but they never look it and they certainly don’t play like it. Their game against the Seattle Seahawks was over with midway thru the 2nd quarter. The Seahawks thoroughly dominated ever phase of the game played in Toronto rolling to a 50 -17 victory. It’s the fourth time this season the Bills gave up 45 points or more. That alone should be enough to fire the coach.

And while you’re firing the coach, fire the quarterback too. Ryan Fitzpatrick game after game continues to show he’s less than mediocre. He threw two interceptions and lost a the ball during a sack on the first three offensive possessions of the second half and the Seahawks cashed in with a pair of touchdowns and a field goal to put the game out of reach. You can’t have a quarterback who’s careless with the ball and this guy keeps turning the ball over.

But it wasn’t all Fitzpatrick. The Bills defense was putrid. They had no answers for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch. Wilson ran for 92 yards and three touchdowns all in the first half. Lynch ran for 113 yards and a touchdown.

The Seahawks were a machine against a pathetic Bills defense that allowed 466 yards in offense.

To me, it looked the Bills mailed it in. They just gave up. Didn’t seem to be interested.

Even when Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, leading by 30 points in the fourth quarter, went with a fake punt, the Bills didn’t show any emotion. It was a classless move by Carroll, but a gutless response by the Bills.

The Chan Gailey era in Buffalo must end.
