For the second straight week the Buffalo Bills opened the scoring with a Rian Lindell field goal at the end of a nice game opening drive, but the offense sputtered from there.  Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos built a 14-3 second quarter lead on a touchdown run and touchdown reception by former Bill running back Willis McGahee and the Bills never threatened after that in a 24-10 Broncos win.

The Bills had a poor week offensively in training camp and it showed Saturday night.  They still have a lot of work to do to get all the parts working together.  The Bills only touchdown of the night came on Tyler Thigpen to Felton Huggins 13-yard pass late in the fourth quarter.  Thigpen completed 11 of 20 for 118 yards.

The Bills had a number of players injured in the game - the most serious to rookie running back Johnny White when his head was slammed to the ground during a tackle.  He was strapped to a body board and taken to a Denver hospital.

The Bills play their first home preseason game next Saturday night against Jacksonville.
