Blake Shelton Almost Turned Down “The Voice”

We all know Blake Shelton as one of the stars of NBC's"The Voice". In a recent interview with RollingStone.Com, he stated that he almost passed up the opportunity to be apart of the show. The major reason , he never saw himself as a television star and just some country boy from Okalahoma. However, when he found out Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera were going to be on board, he decieded that he had to do it.

 In the interview with Rollingstone.com, Shelton stated that "I'm fighting to get played on the radio and I was being standoffish about being on this show". Shelton also stated, "I get sick at when I think what if I had passed on this and moved on and they hadn't waited on me." Shelton realized during the show that he has alot he can offer potential artist.
