Blake Shelton has #1 album in America

Blake Shelton has a lot to celebrate over the past couple of months. The first would be marrying the beautiful and talented Miranda Lambert. The second would be his hit show “The Voice” on NBC. The third would be touring with Brad Paisley, who made a stop at Darien Lake yesterday.  He can also proudly say that he as the Number 1 album in the nation. According to GAC and Billboard.com,Blake’s new album “Red River Blues” has the number one spot on the Top 200 Albums this week. He also debuted at number one on the Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. He holds a top spot on ITunes Overall albums and Country Albums chart this week.  He has sold over 116,000 copies of the album this week.  I have to say that I’m not surprised by the success of this album. I don’t think there is a bad song on this album. So if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, go get it. Also if you do already own it, I would love to know what your favorite song is.
