An 11-year old Niagara County boy was honored on Tuesday for his quick thinking in alerting school authorities to a fire in the West Street Elementary School in the Niagara Wheatfield School district last month. And because of his actions, everyone was able to get out of the building safely before firefighters arrived.

But when Robert Dikcis was asked about his bravery, all he wanted to do was talk about his older brother, Army Specialist Alan Dikcis, who was killed in Afghanistan three years ago. Robert says his older brother is the real hero, the one he always looked up to.
