Last week a little boy walked into a Greenfield, Wisconsin police station and did something unusual: He gave 10 dollars and 3 cents in change to the front desk officer - and walked away. Intrigued, the station used its surveillance footage to identify who the boy was.

A few days later, the mystery was solved. 11-year old Maxx Siepert wasn’t even born when 9-11 happened, but he was learning about it in school and was so moved by the heroism of police and firefighters that he decided to make a donation of his own money. He said he knows it’s not a lot, but it's something. If every person would do that it'd be such a great world. It would be awesome!"

For the police department they say it’s the first time anybody ever made a donation, especially somebody so young. But it really lifted morale. The money will go to the police foundation.
