Race One in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship goes to Brad Keselowski.  He won at Chicagoland Speedway just as he did two years ago on his way to the title.  The key was cashing in an opportunity with 15 laps to go when he caught Kevin Harvick and Kyle Larson battling for position.  Keselowski drove thru the middle of their two cars to take the lead and never gave it up.

Jeff Gordon passed Larson for second place while Larson settled for third.  Joey Logano came in fourth while Harvick faded to fifth.

It's Keselowski fifth win of the season and 15th of his career and it guarantees him moving on to the next round of the Chase under the new format.  Jeff Gordon is second in the standings with Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano all in the Top 5.

It's on to New Hampshire next week.
