What would you do if you found a man sexually molesting your daughter? I hope to God that you never have to answer that question in your own life.  But a man in Texas did, and his answer was to kill the man who molested his daughter. It says in the Bible, "Thou Shalt Not Kill;" it's plain as day in the 10 Commandments. But I can't help but think that this one was warranted.

According to Huffington Post, a father from Shiner, Texas, whose name has been held to protect the sexually abused victim, ran to the calls of his screaming daughter to find that she was being sexually molested. What ensued was a beating by the father that took the life of Jesus Mora Flores, a man who was hired to help on the father's ranch.

After the beating, and after the man had made sure his daughter was safe, he called 911 to request an ambulance come to his house.  He was frantically trying to get the man who had just molested his daughter help so that he wouldn't die. But it was no use; the man died from the blows delivered to his head and neck area.

As a father, I'm relieved to see that the father in this case was not indicted today by a grand jury. The jury concluded that he was authorized to use deadly force to protect his daughter. If they would have indicted him, what message does that send to us?  That people can come into our homes and defile our family members, and if we do anything to them, it will be us who face the consequences.

In turn, this jury sent a message to the right people.  They sent a message to the rapists and the molesters that they are not going to get away with what they are doing.  They sent a message that we have a right to protect our families.

So what about the 10 Commandments reference?  I don't think this guy had intended to kill the molester.  If he did, he wouldn't have called 911 to get him help.  The man died after a very serious beating...that he totally deserved.  In my opinion, God will be the one who judges us.  This father simply set up the molester's meeting a little earlier for him.  Good for him for being his daughter's knight in shining armor.  Little girls need their daddies.  Thank God that this guy was able to come through for her.
