Brothers Osborne has announced the release of their upcoming self-titled EP.

'Brothers Osborne' is set for release on Sept. 9, marking the duo's first commercial release. A full-length album is expected from the band in early 2015.

"When we write, we don't have to speak," John Osborne tells Rolling Stone about the brothers' writing style. "We know exactly what we want, and we're very honest. We used to fight when we were little kids, and we carried that to verbal attacks when we're co-writing."

"It can make for some arguing, but it moves the process along faster," T.J. Osborne adds. "We also have a tendency to get into our own mumbling slang. Other co-writers have said they need an interpreter because they can't understand a darn thing we're saying."

After the EP's release the band will join Eric Church on The Outsiders World Tour, starting in Bossier City, La., on Sept. 11. A list of upcoming tour stops can be found at BrothersOsborne.com.
