Budweiser Buddy Cup Is A Bad Idea [VIDEO]

There are certain things that you shouldn't do when you're drinking. Obviously driving is on that list. I think calling ex-girlfriends should be out. Texting should be out all together.

Social networking, too, can be a bad idea when you're drinking.  Which is why the Budweiser Buddy Cup could be a very bad idea.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds like it's a pretty cool invention.  It's a cup that has a chip in it that is linked with your facebook page.  So anytime you clink your Buddy Cup with someone else that has a Buddy Cup, you become friends.

But what happens when you're just trying to be friendly, and there's some dude trying to jack up his friends list (because the number of friends you have on Facebook is important in some people's lives)? The next thing you know, you're seeing posts from some dude that you've never really met. He's asking you to come over to a barbeque with a family that you've never met, or showing you pictures of a baby that you could really care less about.  Suddenly you've got requests to play games like Farmland or Bubble Bop, or some other stupid waste of time.

If you really wanted to be friends with these people, you could stalk their pages and work hard to find them like the rest of us have to. Granted, it's not that big of a deal, but honestly, some things should not be done while under the influence of alcohol.
