There's a good chance if you've been to a Bison's game, you've seen the guy they call "The Butcher."  He was a staple at Bison's games from the mid 80's at War Memorial Stadium and was there to open what is now called Coca Cola Field.

The Bisons are sending their condolences to the entire Palmer family after hearing of his passing.

"The Butcher was more than just a bat boy, rather a major part of the overall experience that Bisons fans had when they attended games at War Memorial Stadium. The commitment and passion that he brought to every game made him as beloved as anyone else in a Bisons' uniform. He and his contributions to the early success of Bisons baseball will forever be missed," - Jonathan A. Dandes, President of Rich Baseball Operations.
