New Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan promised to build a team of bullies.  Of course it was a figurative term, but it's interesting that the first player that the Bills signed to improve the offensive line is Richie Incognito.

Incognito has been voted one of the NFL's dirtiest players, but he's better known for the accusations of bullying a teammate while playing for the Miami Dolphins.  Under accusations of harassment and racial slurs he was suspended for the 2nd half of the 2013 season.  He was out of football last year.  Three teams gave him a tryout last year but decided against signing him.

Incognito has undergone anger management counseling and mental health treatment and apparently the Bills are satisfied. The Bills released a statement from team owner Terry Pegula:

"I personally met with Richie, along with Doug Whaley, Rex Ryan and Kim regarding an opportunity to earn a spot on the Buffalo Bills roster.  Obviously, we all discussed Richie's past experience in the NCAA and NFL.  We are convinced that Richie is prepared to move forward and has and will continue to take the necessary steps to improve himself as a person and a teammate. Following discussion with the rest of the coaching staff, we as an organization will provide him with the opportunity to do so."

Next to their quarterback situation the Bills most pressing need is an upgrade to the offensive line and Incognito may be one of the pieces.  He played three games with the Bills during the 2009 season.
