In the NFL you take a win any way you can get it.  But for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings their 17-16 victory was as ugly as they come.  Kyle Orton's two yard pass to Sammy Watkins in the end zone with one second left completed a 15-play, 80-yard drive to give the Bills an unlikely win.

Watkins finished with a pair of touchdown catches; the other was a 26-yarder in the second quarter.  Watkins finished with 9 receptions for 122 yards, over the 100-yard mark for the second week in a row.

The Bills finished with four turnovers, two of them in the Minnesota end of the field that took away at least a field goal try.  Kyle Orton finished completing 31 of 43 passes for 283 yards and the two scores to Watkins.  He says the whole team shared in the credit for the winning drive -

With as much talent as the Bills have they should have been able to win this game easily over a suspect Vikings team, especially with a rookie quarterback.  But the Bills fumbling, bumbling ways allowed the Vikings to stay in it to the end.  After the game Doug Marrone was angry about the turnovers and promised to find a way to end them -

Despite the win Marrone says he's not very happy with the team's performance -

It was a costly victory with the loss of the Bills two starting running backs.  Fred Jackson was taken to the locker room with a groin injury and C J Spiller was carted off the field with a shoulder injury that required surgery.  Spiller may be lost for the season.

The Bills improve to 4-3 and travel to play the New York Jets next week.
