The 2016 NFL regular season schedule was released on Thursday night and for the Buffalo Bills it means opening and closing the season on the road and a prime time home opener.  The Bills season opener is Sunday, September 11th at Baltimore and then four days later on Thursday night, September 15th the Bills host the New York Jets at 8:25 pm in the home opener.

The Bills two annual meetings with the New England Patriots take place in the first half of the season, at New England on Sunday, October 2nd, then four weeks later the Bills host the Patriots on Sunday, October 30th.

The Bills make three trips out to the west coast, Sunday, October 9th against the Rams in Los Angeles, a Monday night game at Seattle on November 7th and then at Oakland on Sunday, December 4th.

The Bills play three straight games at home in December 11th against the Pittsburgh Steelers, December 18th against the Cleveland Browns and a Christmas Eve game against the Miami Dolphins.

Except for the Thursday night home opener all of the Bills home games are 1:00 pm starts.

The Bills close the regular season against the New York Jets on New Year's Day.
