The Buffalo Bills haven't had a dependable quarterback since Jim Kelly.  How many quarterbacks during that time have you ever had the confidence in to rally the Bills to a victory.  Or to do enough good things to blow open a game.  E J Manuel certainly isn't the guy.  So the question is how long do the Bills insist on staying with Manuel before they realize they made a mistake?

There's plenty of blame to go around for the Bills 23-17 loss at Houston on Sunday.  Manuel completed only 21 of 44 passes for 225 yards, a pair of touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.  The first of those picks changed the game.  Texans defensive end J J Watt's interception return for a touchdown gave the Texans a lead they never gave up.  It was a bad decision by Manuel they never recovered from.

Give credit to Watt.  He may be the best player in the National Football League.  He drove the Bills offensive line crazy all game.

Even with the shaky stats and the bad decisions the Bills still had a chance to win with a touchdown in the final two minutes but Manuel did what he seems to do best - throw the ball into defenders and it was picked off to end the game.

So after back to back wins to open the season the Bills have lost two in a row to fall to 2-2.  They're at Detroit next week.
