It's amazing how much progress crews have made since the last media tour of the work being done at Wilson Stadium. Pictures and even video probably don't do it justice. The scope of the project is immense, and so is the work crew. 750 men and women are on the job Monday through Friday, and 200 on Saturdays.

So much of the project has fan comfort in mind, making it easier to get in and out of the stadium, heated concession areas, more restrooms and a souvenir shop four times larger than the one being used now. New lighting will brighten the concourses, and they'll be easier to get through, especially at halftime, by eliminating concession carts.

A new high definition scoreboard will replace the one from last season, and new video scoreboards at the tunnel end will allow everyone in the stadium to enjoy replays.

The target date for completion is August 1, but because their first preseason game isn't until August 23, they have more than a three-week cushion.
