An impressive win for the Buffalo Bills against the New York Jets.  The Bills defense forcing six turnovers while Kyle Orton connected for four touchdown passes in a 43-23 victory to improve to 5-3 entering their bye week.  It's the second time in his career that Orton has thrown for four toutchdowns.  He's won three of the four games he's started since taking over for E J Manuel.

Another big day for rookie receiver Sammy Watkins with 157 yards on three catches, one of them a 61-yard touchdown.  Another one going 84 yards, but coming up just short of the goal line when Watkins was tripped up from behind when he started celebrating early.

Jets starting quarterback Geno Smith had his worst day as a pro.  He completed only two passes to teammates, but three to Bills defenders throwing interceptions on three consecutive possessions.  That was it for him.  In came Michael Vick.  He was able to move the Jets, but he fumbled away the ball twice and threw an interception.

Stephon Gilmore, Preston Brown, Aaron Williams and DaNorris Searcy had the interceptions for the Bills.  Stephan Charlies and Duke Williams recovered the Vick fumbles.

So halfway thru the season the Bills are in good shape in the drive for a playoff spot.  They're off next week and return to host the Kansas City Chiefs at Wilson Stadium on November 9th.
